What was good?
Consistency is their middle name. El Pecos in Maraval got me hooked first with their crispy sweet potato fries, their sweet fried plantain, and not to mention that ridiculous assortment of meat. A meal lover's dream people! Pork, lamb, chicken, fish, beef, stewed, fried, baked, grilled, jerk....
A meat lover's dream. Since you are paying by the pound, it makes more financial sense to just buy a box of meat, but they really do have some delicious sides that end up jumping into your box despite your initial plans. Even the veggies taste good!
The food tastes great (and tastes the same) at all their locations. Got double hooked carrying clients to the El Pecos on the Avenue.
Try to beat the lunch time crowd by getting there at 11:45. (You'll be glad you did, even though the lines move quickly enough). Cool customer service, no complaints. They allow customers to use gloves which is a nice hygienic touch.
This is our office's Thursday lunch time ritual. Keep it up girls and guys!
What could be improved?
Wider umbrellas for the rain when people are dinig outside.
