They set the standard for Tobago

What was good?
We actually booked and cancelled, but had to rebook at the last minute because our choice fell through (long-story). Fact is Bernadette at Conrado was more than accommodating. " When is check in time?" we asked. "3pm," she responded, "but you can come now if you like, no problem." It was no problem. We were able to check in immediately and for a very small extra charge we were able to check out 'very late' the next day.

The hotel is located right next to a small fishing community and the fishing boats are moored just off to the side of the hotel. We didn't swim but many people did and the water looked wonderful. Very shallow and calm as reefs protected the beach from big waves. There were sand bars within wading distance and people walking along them gave the impression of walking on water.

The place is very picturesque, and our small room with balcony (small one) offered a wonderful view of the sea. The reason to stay is the very friendly and accommodating staff. Every member of staff, but particularly the front desk were friendly and accommodating.

Tip: Ask for a seating at the three table restaurant right next to the hotel.
What could be improved?
This is not a five star resort but merely a very clean and friendly hotel on the beach. The sheets/linens are probably due for replacement, but everything was clean and well taken care of.

It was a bit busy along the road as the hotel is located to the most popular beach in Tobago: Pigeon Point. Yet despite this it still seemed cozy and even a bit secluded, once you were on the beachfront.

One easy thing they could do is have someone clean the scraps and odd fish-heads left on the beach (probably from the fishermen).
