Branch location reviewed
Picton street
What was good?
The place is tucked away on the West side of Picton Street and is easy to miss unless you are looking for it. I had my first taste of the food there yesterday.

Very cozy, atmosphere that gives a sense of a place that is being itself instead of trying to imitate some American formula.

Their menu offers the opportunity to choose a particular sauce like Rogan josh or Tikka Massala to go along with beef, chicken, shrimp, salmon etc.

What I really liked was the variety of breads you can choose from and the high-energy and very congenial proprietor Khaled Ali offers to custom bake authentic french baguettes if you call ahead. I especially appreciated his honesty about the limitations of how authentic the french baguette can be given the local flour available. I am curious to taste it.

The breakfasts look fantastic and I'm very happy to see that they are open on Sundays (reservations encouraged), and I will update this review when I experience their breakfast.

There is a wireless internet available so it looks like a great place to come and get some work done during mid-morning or mid-afternoons.
What could be improved?
Parking is not the best and the sitting space could be larger. Khaled may well address this with a change of location.
