Our Mission ...

is to help make Trinidad & Tobago a better place to live and do business.  There's enough bad news and "mauvais langue" in daily life, "leh we" spread some good talk nah?  Not as in always good, but helpful, authentic and constructive.

Do More!" (A quote to live by)

"Do more than Belong ... PARTICIPATE; do more than Care ... HELP; do more than Believe ... PRACTICE; do more than be Fair ... BE KIND; do more than Forgive ... FORGET; do more than Dream ... WORK!

Tons of media to choose from

Thanks to traffic we're largely a radio nation.  If you have a favourite newspaper, radio show or Trini blog please leave a review for it here.

Expat & Visitor Corner

Welcome to Trinidad & Tobago!

Whether you've only just arrived or have been here for years I hope you'll enjoy exploring and contributing to a site that can help make everyone's stay here more enjoyable.

The site was originally intended for locals and that scope expanded when my expat friends indicated how much they would have appreciated a site like this especially in their first year of living in Trinidad.  Having been an expat myself (Netherlands and England) that made sense to me.

Plus it's great for us locals to get international perspectives on how we rate. Generally speaking we aren't good with brutal honesty (not like the dutch), but we are getting better at learning from constructive feedback, and we hope you'll provide that here as well as share what's good and great in our two islands.

There's so much crap in the news that we forget how good life here can be and how fun we Trinis and Tobagonians can be.

Fun Trivia & Helpful tips

Over time we'll be adding some fun facts and trivia about TnT geography and culture.  With the help of savvy and helpful locals you can use GoodTalkTnT to get the local 'down-low' on how things work, and 'how to move' here in Trinidad and Tobago.

Here's your first bit of Trini trivia:  GoodTalk is not quite what it seems.  "Good Talk" is an old Trinidad expression that has less to do with the 'goodness' of the information but more to do with the reliability or truthfulness of it.  So the idea is that you can trust the information you find here, or rather that the information will not be censored for anything other than inappropriateness or stuff that can land yours truly in jail..

Things down the pike
